This blog is a place for my head noodles. Here is as good a place as any to put them.
I draw a lot and the lesser scribs make it here, but you can view more on my website.

All done

The comic workshop is over.
WHAT AM I GONNA DO ON TUESDAY NIGHTS NOW? Should probably make comics.
I would urge any of you who have an interest in creating comics to take this course!
It was just wonderful and I'm feeling really inspired and much more informed.
Richard and Terry are brilliant and know everything. Everything.

Head here to book the next course starting in october.

And for those of you who helped me get there on PledgeMe, I'm very sorry for
the delay in getting doodles to you. They will be in your lives soon.

Plus, I got a signed copy of the Blastosaurus April Fool's Special. So ha.

Letham Gallery 'Works On Paper' preview.

The fine folk at Letham Gallery invited me to take part in their up coming exhibition 'Works On Paper'.
A selection of artists, both well-known and fresh, were given 5 pieces of paper to fiddle with. I, of course, scribbled all over said pieces.

'Works On Paper' runs from July 12th - 24th at Letham Gallery, 35 Jervois Road, Ponsonby.
Come along to the opening night (12th 6-8pm) and get first dibs... everything is $100! Sheeeeit.

Comic Workshop #1

5 minute comic strip. The point of the exercise was to capture these six events in a quick fire
comic using: gesture, plewds (eg speed lines, shock droplets etc) and other traditional tricks.

1. Man is walking casually along street, wearing
a scuba suit and carrying a boom-box
2. Man is startled by a bear
3. Man offers bear fresh apple pie.
4. Bear politely refuses and then insults the man.
5. Man is relieved.
6. Man dances of a cliff.

Best story ever!!!
The point of the whole exercise was completely lost on me.
But I think the fact that I'm well aware of this makes it all fine.

And I know boom-boxes are large and usually carried on the shoulder, but this guy is tall and clearly does what he likes.

Ciel PR Bunnies

So the 'BUNNY WEARS PRADA' series was a hit.
So much so that they sold out instantly and I received a commission to do several more for Ciel PR.
Each outfit has been individually styled by Chris Lorimer.
